That's My VC!

This is totally awesome! First time in life, a Vice-Chancellor involved in cycle for fundraising. Cool!

The Life Cycle
The University of Nottingham's Life Cycle team will support a major fundraising campaign by cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End, to raise money for the Sue Ryder Care Centre based at The University of Nottingham.

The University of Nottingham's Life Cycle
The University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor David Greenaway, will lead a team of colleagues as they cycle more than 1,000 gruelling miles over 13 days.

Their ride begins on Saturday 27 August, to raise money for the Sue Ryder Care Centre for the Study of Supportive, Paliative and End of Life Care, based at The University of Nottingham.
The VC's personal commitment is believed to be a first in UK Higher Education. It comes ahead of the University's biggest fundraising campaign which will have health and well-being as a central theme.

Meet the team of riders and show your support by sponsoring the event or even getting involved yourself.

"This idea is the best possible build-up to the launch for the University's fundraising campaign and at the same time sets myself and others a challenge. The chosen causes carry out important research and I am delighted to be supporting them." Vice-Chancellor, Professor David Greenaway
