Where is The Love?!

One by one, controversial issues happened in the so-called Islamic country, Malaysia. Few to be listed: the sex video claimed to be recorded upon Anwar Ibrahim, the opposition party's leader, and two cases of 'suicide' related to the investigations of corruption and money laundering.

Sometimes, it seems impossible those people acting like such. Anwar once, was a young leader of Islamic association called ABIM. He was well-trained by tarbiyah. Plus, only those who know tarbiyah realise how heavy is the duty of becoming a leader, especially for an Islamic students' movement. If you can put yourself in his shoes, how could you do a very big sin, the wrongdoings that Allah really hate? Don't you fear Allah?

In a short discussion with my friend, we raised a point. Why they really hate Anwar and did many things to assassinate him? Is it because there is no way to take his life?

  وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ
And Al-Fitnah is worse than killing. (Surah al-Baqarah: 191)

Sometimes it's funny to think, let if it is true Anwar is the sinner, for sure, Azizah will leave him. This is not the first 18SX story of Anwar, anyway. He had been accused before in 1998. Honestly, no wife can accept her husband if he's having affairs behind her back. Especially, if the woman is a very strong and practising lady like Azizah. Perhaps, those who create this fitnah felt very dissappointed when Azizah refused to watch the censored video to identify either the guy committing zina is her husband or not. Don't they see the logic here?

Second case, the corruption. To commit suicide, is not an option for someone who is so strong and well-known by his family and friends as a very good person. Teoh Beng Hock and Ahmed Sarbani Mohamed worked tirelessly throughout their life for the beloved country. 2 life were sacrificed to find the truth of money laundering in the government, both in the state and country's ruling. How precious the hidden secrets are.

Up to this extent?

I wrote this in English so that, the non-Malaysians know what actually is happening in Malaysia and how immature the politics in the country is. Not to destroy my country but to make the Malaysians think, we must change. We can no longer be 'katak di bawah tempurung', ignoring what the outside world say about us.

I love Malaysia. And I'm willing to die protecting my country from any injustice. Because that's my jihad, not a suicide.
