Ola Bola: A Review

I would say it is a must-watch movie.

For those who seek for patriotism, this is definitely the one you're looking for. Of course, different races have their own ways of life, but when these different people met, they are able to work as a team. All main languages in Malaysia were perfectly used and blended in. It shows no matter how good your English is, it's your mother tongue who describe your personality.

For those who seek for perfection, the only imperfections I could find out just the way Muslim ladies wearing headscarves during 80s and the amateurs playing football for international match. With all costumes, hair styles, old appliances including Singer earliest sewing machine, daily lifes, I'm sure detailed study had been made to illustrate the 1980s era.

For those who seek the history of Malaysia when gadgets are not yet created, here it is. For those who miss the good old times, here it is. Playing football using papers, wearing a DIY masks, adjusting the television's antenna for clearer picture, working hardly for a single cent no matter how young you are.. I don't think our youngsters have going through all these. Let them see, how our lifes were once, before.

Well done, Astro Shaw for producing such an awesome movie. It is indeed, a masterpiece! It's not just a movie. It proves that good values can still be delivered without discern love story, sexy actress and excessive immorality.

This movie reminds me to the feeling of unity arosed when me and my friends work together in Nottingham Malaysian Society. Only the netizen could tell, the true meaning of 1Malaysia.
